SUMMARY:PRS22 Precision Rimfire League
DESCRIPTION:Match 2 of 7. Welcome to the Birchwood Rimfire Precision Rifle Series.   This is a multiple stage 22LR match shooting steel targets at distances up to 100 yards (for the winter season).  This is a fun\, action packed match where you will be shooting on multiple targets on each stage\, at varying distances of 15 to 100 yards.  Seasoned PRS competitors often use additional equipment such as bags\, wind meters\, bipods\, and other gear.  If you don’t have any of those things\, please do not be intimidated.  Our competitors are very friendly\, and are often more than willing to share gear.   This is a great opportunity to try gear to find out what you may want to purchase. \n  \nPlease review the Precision Rifle Series Rimfire Rulebook https://prs-website-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/public/prs_rules_rimfire.pdf to find which division you qualify for (Production\, Open\, Senior\, Junior\, Military/LE).  If you are registered with the PRS22\, then your scores will be submitted there as well.  https://www.precisionrifleseries.com/profiles/rimfire-combined.   Please provide your PRS member# if you are affiliated. \n  \nBolt action rifles with scopes equipped with adjustable turrets are strongly recommended\, but not required.  Each match has multiple distances\, so without adjustable scopes\, you will have to “hold over” small targets.  For this type of shooting\, a First Focal Plane (FFP) scope is ideal. \n  \nNon-BRSP Members are welcome.  Everyone must be checked in at the main clubhouse prior to 6pm\, and assembled at D Range by 6:15pm.  The mandatory safety brief will be held at 6:15pm sharp.   Help setting up and tearing down is very welcome.   The series fee is $140 \n  \nDates are: Jan 30\, Feb 13\, Feb 27\, Mar 13\, Mar 27\, Apr 10\, Apr 24 \n  \nPRS22 utilizes an online system called Pratiscore for registration\, live match scoring\, and published results.  Match booklets will be published a week in advance.  The match director reserves the right to make adjustments to the match\, but any updates to target selection and distance will be announced during the safety brief. \n  \nIn addition to signup through BRSP here: https://brspclub.clubautomation.com/calendar/event-info?id=7955 \, you will need to register on Practiscore here: https://practiscore.com/arc-prs22-league-at-brsp/register. We are planning on having you register just once in Pratiscore\, and importing your information into each match. If you have any trouble registering through BRSP club automation\, call the clubhouse at 907-688-2809. \n  \nRecommend you “dope” your rifle prior to the first match (recording your elevation adjustments at various yardages).  However\, prior to the first match we will have a short period to do so.   Recommand you bring at least 150 rounds per match.  Only 22LR permitted (no .17HMR/WSM/22Mag/etc). \n  \nWe will have end of season awards for highest aggregate and highest hit percentages. \n  \nFor other questions not answered above\, contact Craig at PRS22@akrifleclub.com
