Matches on military ranges (JBER) are not 100% confirmed until events are created on this page, even then they can be rescheduled or cancelled on short notice if military units need the range. BRSP Match signup is done through their club automation system. Signup for most other events is done through PayPal tickets or RSVP in event details on this page, usually active at least 2 weeks before match start and closes the day before match. Annual Summer Solstice 600yd 20 round FUN/NRA match
June 21, 2022 @ 4:45 pm – 9:00 pm AKDT
Online registration closes at 8am day of match.
Shooters choice of FUN (no awards or classifications) or NRA scores submitted (but no awards) Mid Range Prone and F-Class competition at the JBER Pedneau Range, shooting 1 string of 20 rounds plus unlimited sighting shots in 22 minutes at 600 yards. You may choose to shoot fewer shots. Time permitting and depending on number of shooters, you may be able to fire a second string. $15 for Annual ARC members, $20 for one-day members. Junior shooters are free, but must be ARC members or pay the $5 one-day membership fee.
We’ll be using the Shotmarker electronic target scoring systems as part of this match. No pit duty! Club provides electronic tablets for shooters and scorers.
You MUST register with either the RSVP link (pay fees at match) or buy a Ticket using one of the options below. I expect this event will fill up so don’t delay registering. You don’t need a PayPal account to use PayPal checkout. This will speed up match registration. If you can arrive in the parking lot next to the range by 16:45 that will be ideal.
Please review the match program: https://akrifleclub.com/wp-content/uploads/Match-Program-Mid-Range-Prone-20rd-FUN-Evening.pdf
If you are a new shooter, review this document, but keep in mind the information about scoring and pit duty will not be the same with our use of electronic targets. We are only shooting at 600 yards so relay switches will be less complicated as well: https://akrifleclub.com/wp-content/uploads/F-Class-Match-What-to-Expect.pdf
