Matches on military ranges (JBER) are not 100% confirmed until events are created on this page, even then they can be rescheduled or cancelled on short notice if military units need the range. BRSP Match signup is done through their club automation system. Signup for most other events is done through PayPal tickets or RSVP in event details on this page, usually active at least 2 weeks before match start and closes the day before match. Long Range Prone / F Class State Championship (1000yd)
July 12 @ 9:00 am – July 13 @ 4:00 pm AKDT
Online registration closes at 9pm evening before the match. Sign in time 8:45-9:15am at 1000yd range, safety brief starts at 09:15. Gates will be open by 8:30 am for early arrivals!!!
This is a NRA Registered Long Range Prone and F-Class State Championship competition at the Snowshoe Gun Club in Kenai, Alaska. On Saturday, we’ll be shooting 3 strings of 20 rounds plus sighting shots with shooters pair firing alternating shots at each firing point at 1000 yards. Sunday is similar but 2 strings of 20 rounds for record. Min suggested round count = 130. You may choose to shoot fewer shots or use a rifle with muzzle brake or suppressor if you don’t care about NRA score reporting. $60 for Annual ARC members, $70 for two-day members. Junior shooters are free, but must be ARC members or pay the $10 two-day membership fee. We’ll be using the Shotmarker electronic target scoring systems. Club provides electronic tablets for shooters and scorers or you can bring your own. Your ammunition must be supersonic (1200fps or more) at 1000 yards in order for the system to register your shot!!!
You MUST register and pay online using one of the ticket purchase options below. Walk-on in person registration may be possible if space is still available. Paying online speeds up match sign-in and squadding. Please bring your NRA number and classification card to the match if you have one.
