Matches on military ranges (JBER) are not 100% confirmed until events are created on this page, even then they can be rescheduled or cancelled on short notice if military units need the range. BRSP Match signup is done through their club automation system. Signup for most other events is done through PayPal tickets or RSVP in event details on this page, usually active at least 2 weeks before match start and closes the day before match. Long Range Prone / F Class Regional (1000yd)
September 28 @ 9:00 am – 4:00 pm AKDT
Online registration closes at 9pm evening before the match. Sign in time 8:45-9:15am at 1000yd range, safety brief starts at 09:15. Gates will be open by 8am for early arrivals!!!
This is an NRA sanctioned Regional Long-Range F-Class and Prone tournament held at the Upper Susitna Shooters Range; mile 94.5 Parks Hwy. Course of fire will be: three strings of fire, each one 1000 yds slow fire prone, unlimited sighter shots and 20 shots for record in a time limit 30 minutes. Min suggested round count = 80. You may choose to shoot fewer shots or use a rifle with muzzle brake or suppressor if you don’t care about NRA score reporting. $35 for Annual ARC members, $40 for one-day members. Junior shooters are free, but must be ARC members or pay the $5 one-day membership fee. We’ll be using the Shotmarker electronic target scoring systems. Club provides electronic tablets for shooters and scorers but you are encouraged to bring your own. Your ammunition must be supersonic (1200fps or more) at 1000 yards in order for the system to register your shot!!!
After the 60 round long range match, there will be a 2 person team match. Palma course of fire will be used and coaching allowed. 2 sighting shots and 15 shots for record. Each team will get a block time of 45 minutes. The top 3 teams will share a cash pot based on entry fees. Teams can be mix and matched, i.e. sling shooter with F-O or F-TR and F-TR with F-O. $20 (cash preferred) entry fee per shooters. So bring 17 extra rounds. See you all Sunday!
You MUST register and pay online using one of the ticket purchase options below. Walk-on in person registration may be possible if space is still available. Paying online speeds up match sign-in and squadding. Please bring your NRA number to the match if you want your scores reported for classification.
