Matches on military ranges (JBER) are not 100% confirmed until events are created on this page, even then they can be rescheduled or cancelled on short notice if military units need the range. BRSP Match signup is done through their club automation system. Signup for most other events is done through PayPal tickets or RSVP in event details on this page, usually active at least 2 weeks before match start and closes the day before match. Fun Vintage/Modern/Any Rifle 100yd

This is a fun and welcoming to new shooters 30-round plus 5 sighters rifle match on a 100-yard range using SR-1 paper targets. CMP Achievement pins will be awarded for qualifying rifles that shoot cut scores. Will follow the CMP As-Issued Military Rifle course of fire: 5 sighting shots, 10 prone slow fire shots, 10 prone rapid-fire shots, 10 standing slow fire shots. Sporting/hunting rifles will shoot 8 round strings or fewer rounds if you like.
You can also shoot the same course of fire using alternate positions like prone with bipod and rear bag, sitting, or kneeling. If you don’t want to use a sling you can use a bipod, tripod, bags or any other safe front and back rifle support. Alternate or supported positions just shoot for fun, not CMP pins or other award recognition. Pretty much any centerfire or rimfire rifle is fine to bring.
Non BRSP Members welcome. Everyone must check in at the range office. You will pay the range $20 if you are a Birchwood Member. Non-BRSP members will pay the range $25. Bring a friend or relative.
